Important: visa requirements for the fast track programmes
You will need a Short Term Study Visa for each of the two weekends, ie one for the first weekend and then a fresh one for the second weekend. Although these visas are multi-entry, UK law stipulates that you must leave the UK after 6 months or at the end of the period of study, whichever is the shorter. Each of the two study weekends are deemed to be the period of study, and therefore two Short Term Study Visas are required. Please click here for a guidance sheet on applying for your visas. The university will supply a letter which will support your visa applications. Please apply for your programme early so that you have plenty of time to get your visa, as this can take some weeks.
Please note that even if you already have a valid business or visitor visa, you cannot use it to study in the UK and you must apply for the Short Term Study Visa. Failure to have the correct visa at the start of the study weekend will result in you not being allowed to take part in the classes.
Same price as for UK students
Most universities charge higher fees to international students. MDC programmes are the same price for both UK and International students.
Just 30 minutes from Heathrow airport (London)
We can also help organise group taxis for students arriving at similar times (typical fare if sharing with one other £20).
If you have your own company overseas, or your employer is prepared to accept our invoice, you should be able to reclaim the UK's VAT which currently adds 20% to the fee quoted. Companies based outside of the EU are not charged VAT.
