within the Webucate system. Click here

Best Overall Performance in Developing Themes in Marketing, MSc
Marketing
Lorraine Davidson
The Glamorgan Business School
recently
held a prize ceremony to celebrate the success of high achievers
within the faculty. The award ceremony acknowledged students for
their outstanding work during their studies.
 Lorraine
receives her prize from the Dean of Faculty, Prof Alan Lovell.
Also pictured is Senior Lecturer Henry Enos, scheme leader for this programme.
The ceremony took place on the university’s main campus and was
attended by the winners and their families with the opening address
given by Faculty Dean Prof
Alan Lovell.
Students were rewarded for the best overall performance in a range
of subjects and courses that can be studied at the school including
accounting and finance, marketing, international business and
enterprise, and procurement.
Winners who excelled in their chosen fields each received a trophy
and certificate acknowledging their hard work and achievements
during their studies.
Lorraine began her studies in April 07 and completed in Sep 08,
graduating with distinction at the December ceremony. She is
active in CIM branch affairs, and has her own business Freelance
Marketing based in Richmond, Yorkshire. |

"Thought I should drop you a
note now that the MSc is over! .... I
really enjoyed the course and on reflection, I can't believe how
quickly the last year has gone. Hopefully the three colleagues that
I recommended the course to will meet the standard of achieving a
distinction too! (Just a shame that your new £20 Amazon voucher
offer per new enrolment didn't exist when I recommended the course
to the three of them!) ..... When
I needed to contact MDC for things, queries were handled promptly
and staff were very helpful. ...... I
know you used a quote from me in your last newsletter, and if you
need to use someone as a case study in future, feel free to get in
touch." ....... Marcus Bailey, Lloyds TSB
(graduated Jul 03)
